Magazine Title
This is the most important part of the
magazine as it is the thing that first grabs the reader’s attention. I decided
to use the concept of ‘Q’ and ‘NME’ magazines titles and develop it into my
own. I decided to use the element on the ‘Q’ title of the single letter with
the bright background and a slogan underneath to sum-up the magazine. I think
this would be more suited to my target audience as it would be the most
eye-catching to them. I chose to name my magazine ‘M’ to stand for Music and
for this; I decided to base it on the ‘M’ from the ‘NME’ title. However, I
altered this slightly as I chose not to outline the ‘M’ as I thought this would
be too much with the red background. I also decided to not have such a bright
colour as the background as the ‘Q’ title does.

Indie style aged 15+. I first researched into how Indie models are styled (what
outfits they wear, how their hair and make-up is styled). I then used elements
of each of these pictures and used to them to create my final pictures:
Front Cover
I used aspects from other front covers that I researched in order to make my front cover attractive to my target audience.
Contents Page
I chose very specific contents pages for me to create my contents page and took aspects from these contents pages in order to create my own:
Double Page Spread
Again, I researched DPS and used aspects from them in order to create my media product:
