I have used thinglink to add extra notes onto my pictures for my specific research image manipulation and creation. Unfortunately, this may not be available to view at school so please take note of that.

Evaluation Q5: How did you attract/address your audience?
Below is a short video I have created of my discussing how my media product attracted/addressed my audience:
2. My Model
After researching into indie/alternative models, I decided that my model is most suited to my target audience due to certain features of her and how she was styled. I found that most indie/alternative models had long, dark hair like my model and this is why I chose to use her. Then for my model's make-up, I based it on my research which was the the make-up not being too extreme and an eye-catching coloured lipstick. The model's outfits were very bright and unique so that they are able to catch the reader's attention and draw them in.
3. Colour Scheme/Theme
I chose to stick to a clear colour scheme of red, white and black for my magazine. After researching into magazine covers, I found that these were the three colours that appeared the most and so I decided to combine all of these colours to be used on my magazine. These colours are the ones which suit my target audience the most as well and are therefore suited to my magazine. I think this also adds an air of chicness and professionalism to my magazine.
Unique Selling Points
1. Competition for tickets to see Two Door Cinema Club
Two Door Cinema Club are a popular band with my target audience, so by having a competition to win tickets to see them, my target audience would be attracted to my magazine as it would offer them a chance to see them.

Evaluation Q4: Who would be the target audience of your media product?
Below is a video which I have made on Windows Movie Maker in order to show the target audience of my media product:
Evaluation Q3: What kind of media institution might distribute your media product?

After researching these two publishing companies, I have decided that it would be best for BAUER MEDIA to distribute my magazine. Since the company distributes a number of music magazines, most of which are of the rock genre which mainly give off a male vibe, I feel that my magazine being of the Indie/Alternative genre would be able to sell successfully as there are no other indie magazine published by my company. I also feel that because I have made my product a more female targeted, this magazine would help to sell my product as there is nothing like it published by Bauer Media.
